Wednesday we close the Flemish spring with the last classic on Flemish soil. The professional peloton will ride De Brabantse Pijl. The elite men will be preparing for a 204.8 km ride with 25 hills. The elite women will start in Lennik and after 141 km and 24 hills will finish in Overijse, just like the men.
On Wednesday the riders will tackle the hills on a relatively dry course. The KMI predicts a chance of precipitation and temperatures that can reach 18 degrees. The wind also promises to be rather favourable to the peloton. With wind gusts of up to 10km/h, we'll have to wait and see if that will have an impact on the course.
We'll see who will succeed Tom Pidcock and Ruth Winder on Wednesday in Overijse.
